COVID-19 Response
Family Promise of West Michigan has made the decision that our Day Center will remain closed until further notice. We continue to work with Kent County, city officials and partners to keep families and children safely sheltered, provide them with basic needs and help families move home.
Many of you have reached out to ask how you can help during this time. Thank you! We are beginning to resume in-kind donations by appointment. To see what items we are accepting you can visit our wish list. Please email Chelsea to set up an appointment. If you would like to support families with a financial gift to support hotels stays, transportation, day care needs and food you can donate here.
We appreciate your support as we work to be a good community partner and prioritize the safety and health of our families, volunteers and staff. The outpouring of love and support from this amazing community has been incredible, and with this support we have been able to serve hundreds of families during this pandemic. You have filled our families (and staff) with hope. Thank you for standing with our resilient families and children.
Family Promise is the leader in providing family emergency shelter, and will continue to do this work during these unprecedented times, and we could not do this work without great partners, like you.
Thank you!
