In-home case management and resources to maintain long-term housing stability

Stabilization Services

Support for lasting family stability.

Supporting Families to Maintain Long-Term Stability

The Stabilization program works with families once they have transitioned into safe and stable housing. By focusing on the strengths and needs of the whole family, Family Promise empowers families and children to maintain their homes and build lasting security, reducing the risk of future homelessness.

In-home support helping parents stay housed with their children

How the Program Works

  • Economic Mobility Coaching: Families receive guidance to navigate challenges and maintain long-term stability and economic mobility.
  • Holistic Family Support: Access to resources for healthcare, education, early childhood development, employment, food, transportation, and more.
  • Personalized Case Management: Each family works with a dedicated case manager to set goals and develop a plan for long-term stability.
  • Gradual Transition & Skill Building: Families can participate in the program for up to two years, building confidence, skills, and independence to ensure lasting housing security.

What Families Receive:

Young children experience homelessness differently from adults. Family Promise provides specialized support for kids, including:

  • Educational Resources: Navigation support to preschool programs, tutoring, and enrichment activities.
  • Social-Emotional Support: Family Engagement activities and parenting coaching to help children process stress.
  • Healthy Development: Support for physical, cognitive, and emotional growth, ensuring kids continue to thrive even in times of housing instability.
