Whether you are interested in individual opportunities or eager to give back as a corporate team, congregation, or civic group, you play a crucial role in ending homelessness one family at a time.
Shelter Support
Support families in Family Promise’s emergency shelter program by preparing meals, helping with clean-up and organization, and providing homework help and entertainment.
Office Volunteer
Lend a hand with projects around the Family Promise office! Volunteers assist with mailings, donation inventory and organization, light cleaning, and occasionally special projects like thank you cards and welcome home banners.
Skilled Labor
Have a specialized skill or experience in trades like electrical, plumbing, or drywall? Give back to the community by volunteering your time and talent to support projects across Family Promise’s facilities.

Provide a fresh meal for families at our Wyoming Park Family Shelter. Volunteers plan, purchase ingredients, and prepare dinner onsite in our commercial kitchen or drop off a fresh meal at dinnertime.

Partners in Housing
Help us rehabilitate Family Promise’s manufactured houses to make them beautiful places for families to call home! Volunteer groups lend a hand with interior and exterior projects including painting, cleaning, yard work, and installing cabinet hardware and blinds.
Grounds Clean-Up
Roll up your sleeves and lend a hand with outdoor grounds maintenance at Family Promise’s facilities. Volunteer groups trim overgrown weeds and branches, sweep sidewalks, mow, shovel, and more to keep our facilities tidy and welcoming.
